Technical details about site development

This site is based on the original ORMATYC website developed by Wayne Barber of Chemeketa Community College. The content was revised by Gary Parker of Blue Mountain Community College on a Debian Linux computer using the Jed text editor, HTML Tidy, the HT2HTML web page template processor, and the GIMP, Gnu Image Manipulation Program. The website is hosted by JTan running Apache on OpenBSD.

All programming is done in PERL. See below for a list of sources. The MySQL datadase management system is used with most forms that process data.
